Is the app free?
Yes. It is free and supported by ads. There are no required payments or subscriptions.
Does it need internet?
Not for scoring. You can run a whole game with no signal; internet is only used to load ads.
How does voice scoring work?
Tap the microphone icon in the scoreboard toolbar and say the team or player and the points, for example “Team 1, thirty”. Check the number before saving.
How do I count points from a photo?
Use the camera button on the scoreboard and photograph the remaining tiles. The app adds up the pips of every tile and fills the field for you; you can take more photos to keep adding, and you can always correct the number by hand.
How do I change the points of a special play?
Scoreboard menu (⋯) › Configure Special Plays, or Settings › Configure special plays. There you can edit Capicúa, Double Blank and Tranque, or create your own with the + button.
How do I change the target score?
You pick the target when creating a game. The default (200 points) is changed in Settings › Default Target Score.
Can I delete or fix a round?
Yes. Swipe the round row to delete it, or tap the number to edit it. Totals are recalculated automatically.
How do I change language, color or font?
In Settings › Appearance you can change language (Spanish/English), light or dark mode, accent color and typeface.
Where are my games stored?
On your phone only, up to 50 games in the history. They are never uploaded to a server, so they do not transfer to a new device. Uninstalling the app deletes them.
Do you have a domino game too?
Yes: Domikapikua, our online domino game you can play in the browser. Find it at domikapikua.vercel.app or via the “Play domino” button on the home screen.
